MeFace ("the app", "we", "us") is a face-shape detection and style-recommendation app published by tdevelopers. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. Please review with a legal professional before publishing.

The short version

Photos and face analysis

When you scan your face (camera or gallery), the photo is processed entirely on your device by Google ML Kit's on-device face-mesh model. A downscaled copy of the photo and the computed geometric measurements (face shape, Face Score, proportions, symmetry) are saved in the app's private storage on your device only, so you can view your scan history.

Deleting a scan, or using Settings → Delete all my data, permanently removes these files from your device. Uninstalling the app removes them as well. We have no copy — we never received one.

What is transmitted off the device

Only the minimum needed for the app to function commercially:

  1. Purchases — processed by Google Play and RevenueCat (our subscription infrastructure). RevenueCat receives a random anonymous identifier and your purchase state. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
  2. Anonymous usage analytics — event names like "scan_completed" with coarse properties (e.g. the detected shape name and confidence — never images, photos, or raw measurements), processed by Mixpanel under a random anonymous identifier. Quiz answers from onboarding (gender, age range, goals) are stored as anonymous user properties to tailor recommendations.
  3. Standard network metadata inherent to any internet request (e.g. IP address, handled by our service providers to deliver the request).

The app works fully offline for scanning, results and style browsing.

Data we do NOT collect

Photos, facial images, facial landmarks/biometric templates, precise location, contacts, your name, email, or any account identifier.
